Why We Created Yeasy
Like a lot of great ideas… Yeasy started in a tiny college apartment.
My co-founder and I were roommates, best friends, and honestly… total health nuts.
Our fridge was always packed with things like Greek yogurt, egg whites, cottage cheese, protein chips, really just anything that helped us hit our protein goals while juggling classes, workouts, internships, and life.
And if there was one thing we bonded over almost as much as fitness…
It was grocery shopping.
We were the girls reading every nutrition label in Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Gelsons, or whatever, just comparing macros in the protein aisle, and always searching for foods that actually made us feel good.
But there was one problem.
Every protein option felt… sweet.
Sweet shakes.
Sweet bars.
Sweet cookies.
Sweet “healthy” snacks that somehow tasted like dessert but never actually left us feeling satisfied.
And as two girls who would choose ramen, soup, dumplings, or something warm and savory over a chocolate protein bar any day…
We kept asking ourselves:
Why does protein always have to be sweet?
So we decided to build what we wished existed.
A warm, savory, high-protein soup made for real life.
Something comforting.
Something convenient.
Something that actually satisfies.
That idea eventually became Yeasy. An easy protein source that is easy to digest and better than the rest.
And we’re so glad you’re here.
